A home away from home in Okongo

Uaandja Village Guesthouse Close Corporation (UVG) started operations on 15 April 1994 in Okongo, Ohangwena Region — at a time when Okongo had no Village Council and the road from Eenhana was still gravel.

What began as a humble guesthouse has grown into a preferred stay for travellers from near and far. UVG brings accommodation and leisure closer to people passing through Okongo, with a reception office that remains the heart of our service.

Location

On the B10 at Okongo

UVG sits about 100 km east of Eenhana, the regional capital of Ohangwena, inbound east of the Roman Catholic Church and Total Service (Mwawapekange) at Okongo. We are about 111 km west of Mpungu Valley in Kavango West. The Kalahari Highway passes through Okongo on the B10.
